Genshin Impact Gold: How To Get The Talent Upgrade Material
Materials like Gold in Genshin Impact are classed as Talent Upgrade Materials and as such, are used to upgrade Talents belonging to specific characters. Genshin Impact Gold is used for popular characters such as Xinyan in Genshin Impact to upgrade her instrument pyro wielding Talents and inflict more damage on enemies. Genshin Impact Gold: What Is It?

Gold is a Talent Level-Up Material that takes the form of a book in its art depiction and is used for particular characters to level their special elemental and combat skills (Talents). Gold comes in bronze, silver and gold levels of rarity.
- Bronze quality Gold (Two-star) – Teachings of Gold
- Silver quality Gold (Three-star)– Guide to Gold
- Gold quality Gold (Four-star)– Philosophies of Gold
As with other upgrade materials, alchemy can be used to combine lower levels of Gold into a higher value one. Three Teachings of Gold can make one Guide to Gold, and three Guide to Golds can make one Philosophies of Gold.

Gold books are rewarded to players for completing enemy waves in the Taishan Mansion Domain on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The Taishan Mansion Domain is in Liyue near Jueyun Karst. To gain access to this Domain you must first solve the Taishan Mansion puzzle, which will have you drain the water around the entrance and break the exposed ores there. Once inside, this Domain primarily uses pyro slimes as the enemies you’ll face in waves.
