Click to enlargeFortnite The Ruins is an ancient site overrun by nature. This Fortnite landmark sits east of The Daily Bugle on the water's edge. The Ruins is surrounded by jungle vegetation and resembles a forgotten temple forged of stone.
Don't let The Ruins' small footprint and decrepitness fool you, up to a total of 14 Chests can spawn at the secluded landmark. A quick pillaging of this rather isolated Fortnite location will have you well-supplied for the remainder of the match.

The Level Up Token at The Ruins isn't anywhere in the primary temple area. Instead, the token is perched high on a tower out in the ocean. You'll need to build yourself a bridge and cross from the mainland to the pillar to access this hidden Fortnite Level Up Token. The Ruins Level Up Token rests on the very top floor of the column.

Fortnite The Ruins: What Are Level Up Tokens?
Fortnite Level Up Tokens are at the core of a new set of quests obtained via Monarch’s Level Up Quest Pack. For 1,200 V-Bucks, you can buy Monarch’s Level Up Quest Pack from the Item Shop. Upon purchase, you will promptly gain access to the Monarch skin and all of the Level Up Quests. In total, there are 28 Level Up Quests to tackle.
Each Level Up Quest involves collecting secret Level Up Tokens scattered all across the island. Most of these Level Up Tokens reside at the island's most remote and obscure landmarks, like The Ruins.
Completing all of an individual week’s Level Up Quests will unlock a cosmetic reward from the Monarch Set. The cosmetic rewards granted for completing all of a week's Level Up Quests are as follows:
- Week 1 Quests: Shattered Wings Back Bling
- Week 2 Quests: Monarch's Glow Wrap
- Week 3 Quests: Golden Style of the Shattered Wings Back Bling
- Week 4 Quests: Golden Style of the Monarch Outfit
The Ruins' Level Up Token is categorised under the Week 4 Quests. Collect the rest of the set to earn the elusive Golden Style of the Monarch Outfit as well as an entire Season Level for every token collected.
Monarch’s Level Up Quest Pack will expire at the end of Chapter 3 Season 1. You'll have until March 19, 2022, to collect all of the Monarch’s Level Up Quest Pack Tokens — including The Ruins' Level Up Token. Players that purchase Monarch’s Level Up Quest Pack and Collect all 28 Level Up Tokens will earn the distinguished Golden Style of the Monarch Outfit. When it's all said and done, this skin will surely go down as one of the Fortnite rarest skins.
