Fortnite: Where To Place Spy Probes

Placing Fortnite Spy Probes is the latest covert operation players have to do for a quest, because someone - or something - on the Fortnite island is up to no good. Doctor Sloan has tasked us with collecting intel, via Fortnite Spy Probes, on the situation to find out what this ne'er-do-well has up their sleeve.

We’ve listened in with Fortnite Wiretaps and taken readings with Fortnite Bioscanners, now it’s time for some old fashion visual surveillance. 

Unlike most challenges, this Legendary Quest does not give us much to work with. Place Spy Probes, but where at? The island is massive, these "place Fortnite Spy Probes" spots could be anywhere.

This guide will cover every specific location where players can place Spy Probes in Fortnite.

Fortnite Spy Probes: Retail Row

Witnesses have spotted our suspect at Retail Row. There are three different spots at Retail Row where players can place Spy Probes.

Aspiring detectives can place their first Spy Probe on the west side of Retail Row, across the street from the yellow house.

Our investigation leads us to the woods south of Retail Row. Place a second inconspicuous Spy Probe here.

Sneaky sleuths can set up a third and final Spy Probe just outside a grouping of trees behind the NOMS grocery store.

Fortnite Spy Probes: Slurpy Swamp

Slurpy Swamp is currently being abducted by the Mothership, but that won’t stop us from setting up surveillance. Doctor Sloan wants us to place a Spy Probe on the hilltop north-east of the factories.

We’ll need more reconnaissance of the happenings at Slurpy Swamp, so place another Spy Probe just across the covered bridge leading out of the location.

Set up three Fortnite Spy Probes in total to complete this tricky Week 9 Legendary Quest. For your efforts, Doctor Sloan will award you with 30,000 XP and some Fortnite Battle Stars.
