Challenges have become a critical part of the Fortnite experience. Challenges offer players a creative and interesting way to earn bundles of XP. Completing challenges is essential for levelling up the Battle Pass and unlocking exclusive skins like Lara Croft and Raven from Teen Titans. Additionally, players can now “super level”. Super levelling allows players to exceed Season Level 100 and unlock unique “Relic” styles for certain Battle Pass skins.

With the rumours of an alien invasion approaching, this may be our last chance to explore the Fortnite island as we know it.

Each Week 11 challenge grants a sizable 24,000 XP. Completing all seven Week 11 challenges will grant players a whopping 168,000 XP. With less than two weeks to go in Chapter 2 - Season 6, every ounce of XP is crucial. Players need to act fast if they aim to collect all of the Primal season’s exclusive cosmetics.

Behind a week or two on challenges? Don’t worry — we have you covered. Check out our Week 10 or Week 9 Challenge Guide if you need help completing any challenges from previous weeks.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at our Challenge Guide below for an in-depth breakdown of every single Week 11 challenge and the best course of action for completing them.

Maintain full shields for one minute (1) - 24,000 XP

Players can fill their shields through many avenues. Small Shield Potions, regular Shield Potions, Mushrooms, and Slurpfish are a few of the items that will boost a player’s shields when consumed. Alternatively, players can destroy Slurp Barrels or sit in the Slurp water at Slurpy Swamp.

Whatever method you choose, completing this challenge first requires that the player maxes out their shields. This means filling your shield bar up to 100. The easiest way to do this is probably by swimming in the Slurp water at Slurpy Swamp. The Slurp water around Slurpy Swamp will guarantee max shields without the need to go searching for Shield Potions and the like.

Once your shield is maxed out, run and hide. Just sit still and avoid enemies or anything that could potentially hurt your shields. If you take shield damage, you’ll have to start the challenge over again. This challenge will complete once you have survived a full minute at max shields.

Use Bandages (3) - 24,000 XP

This next challenge requires players to use three Bandages. Conveniently enough, Bandages spawn in stacks of five. This means that players can complete this challenge after finding just a single set of Bandages.

Each Bandage heals 15 HP, and Bandages cannot heal a player past 75 HP. This means you’ll need to be low on HP before you can wrap yourself with a Bandage.

Obviously, you could take damage from another player or one of the island’s wildlife members and then heal up with Bandages after. However, that poses the risk of you dying and losing your Bandages altogether.

We recommend taking the easy and safe route by inflicting damage to yourself. Build three to four stories in the air and leap off. This will inflict minor damage on your character but keep you alive. Now, use those Bandages to heal back up. Repeat these steps until you’ve gone through three Bandages total.

Play different game modes (3) - 24,000 XP

Along with the standard game modes of Solos, Duos, Trios, Squads, Arena, and Team Rumble, Fortnite has a plethora of original limited-time modes (LTMs). Solid Gold, Floor Is Lava, and Ground Game are just a few of the LTMs in rotation.

For this challenge, all you’ll need to do is play one match in three different modes. Jump into a few of your favourite game modes and play a match.

Spend Gold Bars with Deadfire (1) - 24,000 XP

The Deadfire nonplayer character (NPC) resides within the old western jailhouse up on the hill northwest of Lazy Lake. Like other NPCs, Deadfire can offer players services/quests and also trade useful items in exchange for Gold Bars. Deadfire sells the Exotic Six Shooter Pistol and the Revolver. Use some Gold Bars to buy one of these weapons from Deadfire. The choice is yours; all that matters is that you spend your bars with Deadfire.

Eliminate an opponent at a distance greater than 25 metres (1) - 24,000 XP

This challenge is aimed at the marksmen out there. Players must eliminate one opponent from a distance greater than 25 metres.

Any playlist will work, but Team Rumble is perfect for this sort of challenge. Players can engage from a distance on a group of targets without drawing much attention. Everyone’s distracted and doing their own thing in Team Rumble, so it’s usually a better game mode for challenges than something like Solos.

Grab a Bow or another mid to long-range weapon and begin your hunt. Players can ping a location or an enemy to determine how far away the target is. All that’s left to do is line up the shot.

Place a spirit crystal at the tallest mountain (1) - 24,000 XP

The tallest mountain on the island is Mount Kay. This snowy summit can be found south of Catty Corner. The peak is marked with a yellow flag.

At the top of Mount Kay, players will find the outline of a pink spirit crystal. Interact with the crystal to place it down and complete this challenge.

We’re not yet sure what the crystal has to do with the Fortnite lore, but we’ll certainly find out as we get closer to the new season.

Visit GHOST and SHADOW ruins (1) - 24,000 XP

It seems as though the GHOST and SHADOW factions have returned. Week 11’s final challenge asks players to visit the remnants of these lost factions.

There are three different locations players can visit for this challenge. One is The Shark above Coral Castle. Another is The Grotto south of Dirty Docks and northeast of Retail Row. Finally, players can visit the **REDACTED** Bunker just east of Catty Corner.

Is this challenge a hint that GHOST and SHADOW will return to power in Chapter 2 - Season 7
