Fortnite Reboot Rally is an opportunity to rekindle Fortnite friendships and earn free in-game rewards in the process. Join up with long-lost friends and complete Quests in Fortnite to amass points and collect new items from the Demon Beach Set.

But how exactly does Fortnite Reboot Rally work? We've got everything you need to know about the feature, including how to rally friends, and a list of quests to earn those Reboot Rally rewards.

As we head closer to the release of Chapter 4 Season 4, Epic Games is bringing back Fortnite Reboot Rally, which is essentially a revamped Fortnite Refer-a-Friend. Active players can 'rally' their new or returning friends, complete Quests or Bonus Goals together, and earn in-game rewards.

When does Reboot Rally end in Fortnite?

Reboot Rally is live now and runs until August 26, 2023, at 2pm BST.

To qualify as a new or returning player, the person in question must have played less than two hours of Fortnite in the 30 days leading up to July 31, 2023.

Vice versa, an active player is anyone who has played more than two hours of Fortnite in the 30 days leading up to July 31, 2023.

Now that you know what Reboot Rally is in Fortnite, you'll need to know how to rally your friends - so here's what to do:

  • Regardless of whether you're an active player or a new/returning player, open the Friends tab in the Lobby Sidebar to view the Fortnite Reboot Rally panel
    • If you’re an active player, you’ll see new/returning friends you can group with to complete Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals
    • If you’re a new/returning player, you’ll see active friends and other new/returning friends you can party with in-game to tackle the various challenges
    • Eligible new/returning players will have the 'Reboot' symbol next to their display name in the friends list
  • To kickstart Fortnite Reboot Rally with 50 points off the rip, 'rally' your friends before you party up and play. To rally friends in Fortnite, click on their profile and 'rally 'em back'
  • Next, gather as many friends as you'd like and complete Reboot Rally Quests and Bonus Goals together
    • Quests and Bonus Goals don’t need to be completed with the same friend, so don't be afraid to assemble different squads of eligible friends!
  • As you complete Reboot Rally Quests, you and your participating friends will earn points, which can be stacked to complete the Bonus Goals and earn free cosmetic rewards! You can keep track of your points and all the possible rewards in the Quests tab
