For a while now, Fortnite fans have been wondering how to get Fortnite mobile on iOS. Fortnite was removed from the App Store back in 2020 and the mobile version of the game has been essentially dead since. However, a new development between Fortnite and GeForce NOW will allow Fortnite players on iPhone and iPad to once again experience the magic of Fortnite mobile on iOS.

Despite its status as one of the most popular games in the world, Fortnite has been absent from the App Store since August of 2020. Players fortunate enough to have had Fortnite downloaded prior to its removal from iOS can still play the game, but with a catch. Fortnite players on Apple iPhone and iPad devices are stuck in Chapter 2 - Season 3.

The seemingly never-ending legal battle between Epic Games and Apple has been detrimental to Fortnite players on mobile. However, it finally looks like there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. With the power of cloud streaming and GeForce NOW, iPhone and iPad owners can once again play up-to-date Fortnite on mobile.

This Fortnite X Geforce NOW partnership offers Fortnite mobile players the opportunity to experience the up-to-date current version of Fortnite — delivered through the cloud. This means that you'll be playing on the Chapter 3 version of the game. This new cloud technology will allow Fortnite fans on IOS and Apple iPhone/iPad devices to enjoy an optimised Fortnite with touch-controls — no gamepad or keyboard/mouse required.

The closed beta sign-ups began on January 13 with select members set to receive access later in January. Despite being listed as limited-time, Epic Games and NVIDIA do not yet have an exact timeline for how long this closed beta for mobile will last.

As for how the selection process for the closed beta is determined, players will be chosen based on regional availability and device. As a prerequisite, you will also need to have signed up and followed all of the steps highlighted in the section below.
