Fortnite players are no strangers to leaks. Every update, new cosmetics, challenges, and the like get leaked ahead of time by dataminers. This has become a regular occurrence and is now just an accepted part of Fortnite.

But recently, an anonymous leaker has come out on Reddit with some major news on the upcoming Fortnite season and even information on the seasons to follow. This leaker has a history of accurate “predictions”, so much so that they are likely on the inside or have close connections with Epic Games itself.

So what does this Fortnite insider have to tell us about Chapter 2 - Season 8 and Chapter 3? Let’s have a look...

Ariana Grande Skin And Concert

The anonymous leaker claims that in the near future, pop music icon, Ariana Grande, will have her very own Fortnite skin. But that’s not all. Ariana Grande will be hosting an in-game concert similar to ones we’ve seen in the past with Marshmello and Travis Scott.

This Ariana Grande collaboration has been rumoured for a while now, but this news all but officially confirms it. Additionally, the leaker claims that Epic Games has already done a test launch of the concert, meaning that we’ll likely get an official date very soon.

Naruto In The Season 8 Battle Pass

Continuing with the collaborations, Reddit’s Fortnite insider claims that Naruto will be a featured skin in the Chapter 2 - Season 8 Battle Pass. Previous seasons of Fortnite have seen the likes of Rick Sanchez, Raven, and the Mandalorian as Battle Pass skins. Now, the face of anime will join forces with the inhabitants of the Fortnite island.

Epic Games has been dropping a lot of original anime skins as of late, so it’s no surprise they are looking to turn a legit anime legend into a skin.

More Justice League And Suicide Squad Skins

According to this reliable source, Fortnite will welcome more Justice League and Suicide Squad skins to the game in the coming weeks and seasons. When it comes to DC skins, we already have Superman, Flash, Aquaman, Batman, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and much more.

Some famous Justice League characters currently missing from the game include Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Shazam, and Martian Manhunter. Fans of these heroes may be in for a treat if this insider information turns out to be true.

When it comes to Suicide Squad, King Shark, Polka-Dot Man, Peacemaker, Bloodsport, Captain Boomerang, and Weasel are all candidates to receive their own skin.

New Explosive Kunai Weapon

Likely in union with the Naruto collaboration, Chapter 2 - Season 8 will supposedly include a new explosive kunai weapon. A kunai is a Japanese throwable tool commonly associated with ninjas. Kunai are a mainstay in anime like Naruto. We assume this item will be a throwable that deals high damage on direct hits as well as a minor area of effect damage.

Does this new item along with the Naruto skin leak confirm that Chapter 2 - Season 8 will be ninja-themed? So far, every skin collaboration in a Battle Pass has had something to do with that particular season’s theme. For example, Rick Sanchez and aliens, Mandolorian and bounty hunters, and so on.

But that is not the only evidence we have. More leaked information suggests that we might be onto something with this theory...

Information on Season 8 and Chapter 3

The exalted purple cube, Kevin, will apparently see a return in Chapter 2 - Season 8. This time, Kevin will be controlled by a mysterious “Queen” character that will play a major role in Chapter 3.

Season 8 will also include something called “The Sideways”. This feature or zone will work similarly to the upside-down in Stranger Things. The Sideways will release monsters into the Fortnite world. If our guess on Season 8’s theme is correct, these monsters may include dragons and other creatures from Chinese and Japanese mythology.

Like Wildlife from the Primal season, these monsters may not be entirely bloodthirsty. The leaker claims that it will be possible to ride monsters as mounts.

Looking deep into the crystal ball, the Fortnite insider claims that like what happened with the release of Chapter 2, Chapter 3 will completely redesign the Fortnite map. An entirely new Fortnite experience on a new map could be in our near future.

Finally, the location of The Seven will be revealed in Chapter 3. The Seven are a mysterious organisation of seven members led by The Foundation. While not much is known of The Seven, they play a serious role in Fortnite’s lore.

Why Should We Trust This Anonymous Leaker?

We are taught at an early age not to trust everything we read on the internet. So why should anyone believe these unbacked claims by an anonymous leaker? Well, this leaker has quite a track record.

The mods over at r/FortniteLeaks provided evidence that proves this leaker knew about Chapter 2 - Season 6’s theme, Wildlife, and various Battle Pass skins all before any teasers ever came out. The information was conveyed with such detail that it could not have been mere guesses. This individual clearly has reliable inside information.

Regardless though, nothing is confirmed until it has been properly unveiled by Epic Games itself. Game development is an ever-changing process, so even if these leaks were true at one time, it’s entirely possible that something gets adapted for one reason or another. All of this new information is exciting, but we’ll have to wait for word from Epic Games itself before making official plans for that Ariana Grande Concert.
