We are entering the final weeks of Chapter 2 - Season 4. The war to save reality has kicked into full force. Galactus threatens the universe and our Fortnite champions have recruited the help of Marvel superheroes such as the Silver Surfer, Wolverine, and Spider-Man. Together, they must defend reality at all costs.

Completing challenges throughout the season is essential for levelling up the Battle Pass. Some players love the activity of challenge hunting. For others, it may feel like a chore. Regardless, they are a necessity for those looking to earn all of the exclusive rewards.

Challenges were actually nerfed this season. Standard challenges now offer 25,000 XP and the Party Assist challenge grants 50,000 XP. Compare this to last season where standard challenges gave 35,000 XP, and the Party Assist challenges offered a massive 80,000 XP. This means completing all of the challenges is even more pertinent this season. Players that still need to catch up should check out our Week 6 Challenge Guide.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at our Challenge Guide below for an in-depth breakdown of every single Week 7 challenge and the best course of action for completing them.

Search Chests at Catty Corner (7) - 25,000 XP

Every week this season players have been asked to search seven chests at a random location around the map. This week’s chosen location is Catty Corner.

This may be a little more difficult than the previous challenges, as Catty Corner does not have as many chests as other POIs like Retail Row or Doom’s Domain.

Despite this, the strategy remains the same. Players should enter into either the Solos playlist or Team Rumble. Exit the Battle Bus and dive straight down to Catty Corner. Catty Corner consists of two major points; the factory and the gas station. Choose one, as that is where most of the chests will be. Locate the chests and search them as quickly as possible. From there, head to the section of Catty Corner that you missed and see if there are any chests to clean up. Once all of Catty Corner has been cleared, leave the match. This will save your progress but also your time. Start up another match and repeat the process. This is the quickest method of searching for seven chests.

Since Catty Corner is so condensed, there’s a good chance that you’ll run into enemy players while completing this challenge. You’ll need to either fight them off or open the chests as quickly as possible before dying. Alternatively, players may choose to go after this challenge another time. It will be much easier to find seven uncontested chests later in the week once the competition for challenges has died down.

Eliminations at Craggy Cliffs (3) - 25,000 XP

This is a challenge that needs to be completed ASAP. Craggy Cliffs is far from a hot-drop. The POI is on the far edges of the map, and there is not much incentive to visit it. Without enemy players, this challenge can not be completed.

There will be a large influx of players visiting Craggy Cliffs once this challenge officially drops. After a few days, things will die down again. Make things easier on yourself and attempt this challenge first. All of the extra players will make finding three eliminations far less painful. Wait too long, and players could find themselves alone at Craggy Cliffs.

As for strategies, take advantage of the mayhem. Grab a gun and head toward the first battle sounds you hear. Look for third-party opportunities where you can take out two distracted players at once. The added action is the perfect opportunity to catch enemy players off-guard.

Enter the Vault in Doom’s Domain (1) - 25,000 XP

We’ve seen this type of challenge in previous seasons. Entering a Vault requires a key. The Doom’s Domain Vault Key drops off of none other than Doctor Doom himself. The most obvious way of entering the Vault is by eliminating Doctor Doom. Once defeated, players can grab the Vault Key and open the Vault. However, there is actually another sneaky way of completing this challenge. The keyword in this challenge is 'ENTER' the Vault. Players don’t have to actually open it themselves. Travelling to Doom’s Domain mid-match and entering into an already opened Vault is a perfectly reasonable way to complete this challenge.

The Doom’s Domain Vault is hidden under the football field in the middle of the POI. Either open it yourself or wait a bit into the match and it’ll most likely already be cleared out by other players. Either way, the challenge will complete once the player has walked inside the Vault.

Destroy Cobwebs at The Authority (3) - 25,000 XP

The Chapter 2 - Season 3 villains have abandoned The Authority. With Midas, Jules, and the Shadow Henchmen moving on, all that’s left in The Authority is dust and cobwebs, Players must destroy three cobwebs inside The Authority.

There are over ten cobwebs inside The Authority, so finding three shouldn't be an issue. Simply enter The Authority and check around the ceilings and the corners. Pickaxe the webs to destroy them. The challenge will complete once three cobwebs have been destroyed.

Discover Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory (1) - 25,000 XP

As one may expect, Tony Stark’s hidden Lake House laboratory can be found near the Stark Industries POI. Next to the giant lake in the centre of the location, there is a small cottage shack. Right beside the shack players will spot a larger than normal bush. Once destroyed, a secret basement entrance below the shack will be revealed. Break inside, and that’s it - you’re done the challenge.

Inside of the Lake House laboratory lies a ton of Rare chests. This means the area will likely be contested by other players. Challenge seekers should aim to complete this challenge in Team Rumble. Here, there is no fear of an early death. Players can just respawn and drop back down into the laboratory.

Drive a car from Sweaty Sands to Misty Meadows in less than 4 minutes without getting out (1) - 25,000 XP

The first step to this challenge is acquiring a car. Head to Sweaty Sands and search the streets and parking lots for one of the drivable cars. Once inside, check your compass and follow it directly east. This should take you on the main road out of Sweaty Sands. From here, it’s straight cruisin’. Follow the road straight, checking the map from time to time to make sure you’re on the right track. It’s a lengthy trip, but this road will take you all the way to Misty Meadows. Absent some major off-roading, and players should make it to Misty Meadows with plenty of time on the clock.

Deal damage after knocking an opponent back with Storm’s Whirlwind Blast (1000) - 50,000 XP

This week’s Party Assist challenge requires players to make use of Whirlwind Blast, Storm’s Mythic ability.

Marvel’s iconic Storm takes on a key role in Chapter 2 - Season 4. Whirlwind Blast is one of 12 signature Mythic abilities in Chapter 2 - Season 4. When used, Whirlwind Blast will carry the user into the sky along with propelling enemy players backwards.

For this challenge, players will need to deal 1,000 damage to opponents AFTER they have been knocked back by the Whirlwind Blast ability. This is a Party Assist challenge, meaning everyone on your team will progress the challenge together.

This challenge is best completed in the Marvel Takeover LTM. Jump in and hunt down Storm’s Whirlwind Blast ability. From there, blast back as many opponents as possible and immediately switch to another Mythic ability to deal damage. Working in unison with a squad can make those damage numbers fly up. Dealing 1,000 damage looks intimidating at first, but it can easily be done in one match.

Deal damage to opponents at Coral Castle (500) - 25,000 XP

Coral Castle is a popular location for challenges this season. This is the third week in a row we’ve had a challenge revolve around Coral Castle. This week, players must deal 500 damage to enemies at the Aquaman-themed POI.

Just like the elimination challenges, this type of challenge needs to be completed ASAP. While the plethora of challenges at Coral Castle will keep the location heavy with traffic, the earlier players go for this challenge, the better. Wait a week or two and players may struggle to find targets to deal damage to.

Hot-dropping is the ideal tactic for this challenge. Players can take advantage of the chaos that occurs at the beginning of a match. Grab a weapon as quickly as possible and immediately search for some prey. Depending on the weapon type, players may choose to get up close and personal or take potshots from a distance. Regardless, dish out as much damage as possible while everyone’s busy looting. Dealing 500 damage equates to five unshielded players or two fully shielded players and one unshielded player.
