If you are handy with a scope then you'll want to get your hands on the Fortnite Boom Sniper. Since the new chapter launched in Fortnite, a lot of the exotic weapon locations have been up in the air thanks to the new Flipped map. However, we've been exploring and have everything you need to know to find the Fortnite Boom Sniper in Chapter 3.

Fortnite Boom Sniper: What Is The Boom Sniper?

The Fortnite Boom Sniper is an exotic sniper rifle that was introduced in Chapter 2 Season 5. The Boom Sniper gets its exoticness by adding an explosive charge to its shots, which means that it only does around 10dps per hit, but then does an additional 60 when the explosion goes off. This also means that a viable tactic for the Boom Sniper is to hit players round corners at the explosion can do damage without actually having to make contact on that initial hit. Unlike other heavy snipers, the Boom Sniper Fortnite holds five shots over the usual one.

To acquire the Fortnite Boom Sniper you'll need to head to the location shown above, to the south-west of the Log Jam Lumberyard. On the bend of the river you will see a hut which has one regular llama walking around and a loot llama too. Approaching the loot llama and hitting the interact button, you will be given the opportunity to buy the Boom Sniper Fortnite. However, the Boom Sniper is going to set you back a little bit as the exotic weapons costs 600 gold bars.

Similar to our Fortnite Spider-Man location guide, you will need to rack up a bunch of gold before you head to the Fortnite Chapter 3 Boom Sniper location. There are a couple of ways you can acquire gold quickly. The first is by destroying beds and washing machines, which should drop between five and seven gold bars a pop. Secondly, opening up chests has a high chance of providing you with gold. And lastly, the most risk/reward of the lot, completing bounties will reward you with gold. Luckily, if you aren't so lucky on your first or second attempt, gold bars do carry over in game, so it should be easy to collect up the 600 over a few matches.

That's everything you need to know about the Boom Sniper Fortnite. Want to know how to slide in Fortnite while rocking the Boom Sniper? Check out our guide.
