Click to enlargeThe FIFA 22 Versus promo is set to add a new twist to the festive season, switching it up again from the sole FUT Freeze collection of 21 and FUTMAS cards of the previous instalments.
Instead, much like EA have done with selected SBC challenges throughout the year, the FIFA 22 Versus promo will offer two variants of the same player with boosted stats, giving fans the choice of which buffs they'd like to suit their FIFA Ultimate Team.
FIFA 22 Versus Promo: Freeze vs Fire
From the FIFA 22 Versus promo in-game, it appears that the FIFA 22 FUT Freeze cards are returning this year - a collection that was used to replace the advent themed FUTMAS cards of the past. Here, many players saw a position change that allowed you to play with some great players in different ways. Players such as Adama Traore moved to beastly LB role, whilst Sadio Mane became a perfect pace merchant's tool as he was gifted an unearthly striker position change.
However, this year it appears that FUT Fire cards will be added, with an emphasis on skill moves. With a flick of red across the usual cards, the FUT Fire cards indicate that players will be given much more flair and explosion.
Early indications suggest that whilst all FIFA 22 Versus Promo cards will likely have a position change from their base card, FUT Freeze Cards will have an increased weak foot, whilst FUT Fire cards will have better skill moves.

So far, a set of eleven FIFA 22 Versus promo players have been leaked by various FIFA 22 leakers, with many people vocalising the same list of players. Whilst early leaks suggested that the players will be FUT Freeze, it's likely that the lists will also be featured as FUT Fire cards too with the skill moves / weak foot boosts differential.

Much like every special event hosted by EA, the FIFA 22 Versus promo will have SBC players at the ready, should you fancy a club clearout, in trade for a special card.
One insider has already leaked that Chelsea and USA winger Christian Pulisic will be landing as one of the festive FIFA 22 Versus SBC Players.
More FIFA 22 Versus SBC Players will likely make their way to the puzzle section, as the promo rolls out throughout December.
