Edouard Mendy - GK (85 IF)
As the first of two Chelsea players that shone in their 1-0 victory over the 'giant killers' in the newly-promoted premier league side, Brentford, Eduoard Mendy has galvanised the plaudits this week. Making six saves, all of which were from huge chances, Mendy was the saviour for Chelsea, taking his clean sheet total to 20 in 38 games for the blues.

After finding himself out of the side in the early stints of the season, Ben Chilwell has taken his opportunity back in the first team with both hands. The Chelsea wing-back has netted in his last two games for the blues, including the winner in this weeks' clash against Brentford. The Englishman also scored in England's international game against Andorra, putting the cherry on the top of an in-form run.

Dayot Upamecano - CB (84 IF)
Bayern Munich's 5-1 thrashing over rivals Leverkusen was one of the more convincing performances of the week, and whilst the forward line will take most of the applause, Dayot Upamecano's form in the red shirt has only breathed fresh air into what was a tiresome backline. Despite being their main Centre Back, Upamecano even pitched in with an assist. Upamecano's introduction in the TOTW 5 will also see his OTW card increase and will be a popular pick with FIFA 22 Division Rivals players.
Giorgio Chiellini - CB (88 IF)
Juventus has found their defensive solidarity again this season, producing back-to-back clean sheets in the league, and also keeping out Atlanta in the Champions League. Chiellini's reintroduction to the team has proved pivotal, having been paired with both Matthijs De Ligt and Leonardi Bonucci.

Over in Serie A, Napoli have continued on their rampant run at the top of the pack, and their defensive displays have been the crucial foundations for success. Having conceded just three goals in eight games, Di Lorenzo continued a hot streak at the back, contributing with some great defending against pressing Torino forwards.

Matteo Guendouzi - CDM (83 IF)
Since leaving Arsenal for Marseille, Guendouzi has begun to revive his career in the defensive midfield role. Having found a balance to his responsibilities in front of the backline, and a habit of getting in and around the box, Guendouzi netted a brace against FC Lorient and grabbed an assist to top off his performance. He will likely be included as EA's featured TOTW 5 player, with a huge increase in rating to at least 83.
Serge Gnabry - RM (86 IF)
With Bayern Munich's demolishing of Leverkusen, Serge Gnabry will more than likely appear in the FIFA 22 TOTW 5. Having smashed home two of the five goals, Gnabry's brace saw him as the star-man, overshadowing the likes of Lewandowski and Muller.

It's likely Marseille will join Chelsea and Bayern in having two players featuring in the FIFA 22 TOTW 5 lineup. Alongside Guendouzi, completed a hat-trick of assists, setting up his teammates on three occasions and taking home the MOTM trophy.

Hat-trick heroes will always find their way onto the TOTW, and the bobby dazzler has rekindled his love affair with the back of the net. Scoring three instinctive goals against Watford, Liverpool's false nine will find himself on the FIFA 22 TOTW 5 list.

Serie A strugglers Cagliari had their number ten to thank this week, as Joao Pedro proved the decisive player against fellow bottom-half rivals Sampdoria. With a goal in the fourth and 90th minute, Joao Pedro started the game just as he ended it, which proved to be the difference in their 3-1 win.
