FIFA 22 TOTW 21 Predictions
Kicking things off with the AFCON grand finals, a cagey and stagnant 0-0 draw ended with a penalty shootout, thanks to the heroics of both goalkeepers. Although Sadio Mane netted the decisive penalty, he has his name penned to the TOTW 20 team, leaving scope for Chelsea's Eduoard Mendy to warm the goalie gloves in our FIFA 22 TOTW 21 predictions.
Back in domestic football, the defence will likely boast a range of LaLiga defenders. Barcelona's Jordi Alba scored a peach of a volley that will be a contender for goal of the season, whilst both Eder Militao and Pau Torres got their names on the scoresheet from centre back too.
Completing the defence for the FIFA 22 TOTW 21 predictions line-up could be AZ full-back Wijndal, who himself scored a pivotal goal for the Eredivise side.
It was goals galore for two unsung heroes this week, operating from the deep-lying Centre Midfield roles. Juventus' new signing Denis Zakaria started life off at the Old Lady in style, finding the back of the net alongside fellow debutant Vlahovic - although the latter will likely fall behind more luxurious options in this week's FIFA 22 TOTW 21 predictions lineup. PSG's often-overlooked CDM, Danilo Periera also grabbed a hat-full of goals in their 5-1 thrashing over Lille, scoring twice and setting up another.
Sticking in Ligue 1 and Serie A, a hat-trick was on the cards for Milik of Marseille, with the Polish international continuing yet another fine season of goalscoring. Joining the game week 21 magician club was Candreva, who pulled another three rabbits out of the hat for Sampdoria, with his hat-trick helping them to a much-needed win.
- The FIFA 22 Future Stars Team 2 is also in packs this week...
Rounding off the attacking foray and the FIFA 22 TOTW 21 predictions lineup is a tricky Spaniard and another prolific Pole. Pablo Sarabia was amongst a long list of midfielders who scored twice this week, although the lack of IF cards in Liga Portuguesa this season could see him be included. After his TOTY card leaves packs, another special could be on the cards for Robert Lewandowski, who simply cannot stop scoring goals.
