Drawing inspiration from the various Fantasy Football apps and websites that are increasingly popular, the FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT event will land as a never-before-seen for FIFA fans, although some of the already-leaked players are set to be some of the most luxurious yet. FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT Promo Upgrades Explained
The FIFA 22 Fantasy FUT promo is a brand-new event for this year, coming in hot as a re-jigged version of the "What If" collection from last years' title.
Similarly to how the Showdown Series work, the Fantasy FUT promo is reliant on the real-life games in which the players involved in the promo are participating in. Having received a base card, the players will receive an upgrade on their stats and overalls if their real-life form picks up over the next few games.
Leaks have suggested that the Fantasy FUT upgrades will be marked on the following criteria:
- Play in three out of the next five matches
- Win one out of the next five matches
- Score or assist once in the next five matches (For Attackers or Midfielders)
- Keep one clean sheet in the next five matches (For Defenders and Goalkeepers)
Each one of these that occur will see the player get a +1 overall to their Fantasy FUT cards, meaning they can have an additional three overalls in upgrades.
