FIFA 22 Bailly / De Paul Showdown SBC: Cheapest Solutions, Rewards, Stats
FIFA 22 may well have just celebrated its Team of the Year but the football has really only just begun.
With an expected Road to the Final promo on the way, there is also a pair of Showdown Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) for players to complete ahead of Manchester United and Atlético Madrid's last 16 Champions League tie.
For both teams, the Champions League represents their only real opportunity for silverware and the chance to redeem what have been lacklustre seasons. It is sure to get tasty, and in the spirit, EA has dropped two Showdown cards ahead of the game.
For Manchester United, centre-back Eric Bailly; for Atlético, midfield maestro Rodrigo De Paul. Both players can be earned through their respective Showdown SBCs, and come with not only boosted stats but also the potential for them to be upgraded further depending on the result of the match. If Manchester United win, Bailly's OVR gets boosted by 2, if Atlético, then De Paul gets the +2 boost. If it's a draw, the stat increase is shared with both receiving +1 boosts.

Eric Bailly and Rodrigo De Paul Showdown - Stats
Before we take a look at the SBCs and solutions here is a quick look at their boosted stats.
Click to enlargeBailly goes from 79-rated to 87, and he looks a frighteningly good defender. Possessing great pace and physicality with astute defending, he fits nicely into the FIFA 22 meta. His passing could be better, and he isn't going to do much of anything up-front but as a dye-in-the-wool defender, there are very few better.
Click to enlargeDe Paul's upgrade isn't as much, going from 82-rated to 87, but having said that, the card is absolutely phenomenal. A supremely gifted all-rounder, De Paul has it all; some highlights include 90 stamina, 90 short passing, 89 ball control, and 89 standing tackle.
If Atlético win, this card will be insane.
