FIFA 22 Di Stefano Icon Leaked In-Game

The FIFA 22 Di Stefano icon card was rumoured a while ago, and now files have been leaked revealing the Real Madrid legend is set to come to the game soon. Icon cards in the FIFA series are the most desired

cards in Ultimate Team, boasting the best stats and creating chemistry links with anyone else in the game, along with giving players the chance to re-live the golden era of football through their childhood heroes. Now, it appears one further legend is being added to the Class of '22, as a FIFA 22 Di Stefano Icon Card has been leaked in-game.

Known as one of the greatest forwards to ever play for the Los Blancos, a FIFA 22 Di Stefano Icon card has eluded the game despite being a prime player on FIFA 21. The Real Madrid and River Plate forward has now been leaked to be landing in FIFA 22, as players have noticed an update to the transfer market.

FIFA 22 Di Stefano Found On Ultimate Team Transfer Market

With five consecutive European Championships to his name and 376 goals in 521 games, Di Stefano is the living embodiment of an Icon, and now a FIFA 22 Di Stefano icon card has been found in the search bar of the Ultimate Team transfer market.

Reddit user "kanedauke" found that when typing "di" into the market, a 92 rated Di Stefano appears on the drop-down list. Alongside the likes of Maradona and Van Dijk, Di Stefano's name will appear, although no cards can be found on the market.

Whilst icons normally come in three variants (base, mid, and prime), only the 92 overall FIFA 22 Di Stefano can be found, leaving players to query whether his other variants will appear in SBCs rather than the market.

FIFA 22 Di Stefano Stats Leaked 

Back in July, prior to the release of FIFA 22, Di Stefano's Icon stats were leaked on social media, presumably for both his base and mid Icon card, rated at 90 and 92 respectively. 

The FIFA 22 Di Stefano stats show off one of the best well-rounded cards in the game, primed with incredible pace, finishing, and dribbling, matched with an impressive defensive resume too. Known as one the most probing forwards in football history, the defensive side of Di Stefano's cards could see him work great as a CAM, closing down defenders before bursting away with pace and power.

It's not yet clear if there is a FIFA 22 Di Stefano Prime Icon in the works, although his mid-rated card is the one that appears on the transfer market.

As to when we can expect that FIFA 22 Di Stefano Icon is yet to be seen, although it appears to be rather imminent if the transfer market update is anything to go by. The FIFA 22 Di Stefano card isn't the only recent leak either, with the FIFA 22 FUT Freeze squad getting leaked earlier this week ahead of the upcoming promo.
