It's a case of "I can show you the whirl-ed" as we break down how to beat the Whirlygig in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Mediatonic's colourful competition is all anyone is talking about right now, and as we bounce, boop, and blunder our way toward the crown, some levels are obviously harder than others.

While the Fall Guys Whirlygig might not be the most challenging obstacle course in the game, it can see you come unstuck and relegated to the bottom of the pack if you don't know how to master it.

With this in mind, here's all you need to know about the Whirlygig - here's hoping you don't get too dizzy reading it!

The Whirlygig is split into three distinct parts, with the first being a mad dash toward an arena of spinning rods. We've seen plenty of players fall at the first hurdle here. The simple rule of thumb is head to the side where the beams are coming toward you - making them easier to jump rather than taking you out from behind.

There's a neat trick with a gap between the second set of circles. If you time it right, you can get there and rest in the safe zone where the arms will never be able to hit you. Another handy hint is to jump on top of the inflatable triangles to launch yourself forward and overtake the competition.

The spinning arms can give you a boost and catapult you across the level - however, it's a well-timed risk because the opposite can send you hurtling backwards.

Part two of the Fall Guys Whirlygig takes the action up a notch thanks to a gauntlet of propellers. Heading toward the blocks, another top tip is to use the travelator in the middle and fly up the ramp. When you reach the top, jump and dive, which should land you on the upper platform without having to bother with scrambling for the blocks.

If getting on the blocks and up to the next part wasn't hard enough, you then have to navigate a labyrinth of triangles and avoid being sliced and diced by rotating blades. This being the family-friendly world of Fall Guys, you thankfully won't be decapitated.

Still, it's no fun being tossed across the board as everyone else passes you by. Once at the windmill blades, the advice is to pause. It's a little too easy to rush ahead and be knocked out. If you stop to take a breather and let the blades pass, it's a simple hop through the gap.

Put on your best running shoes when the propeller is pointing directly down in front of you. When approaching the second set of windmills (three this time), pick one of the gaps either side of the middle propeller. This should allow you to slip through with relative ease. There's no rest for the wicked as we head into the final stretch of this gruelling gauntlet.

Things branch off on three routes here, and while some would suggest you take the middle ramp, use your noggin and head to the side (albeit temporarily). When you're on the first platform, take a dive back to the middle path and lunge to help you go a little further - even if it looks like you can't make it.

Back on the middle path, it means you can skip two whole platforms from the side route, and you're back on the shortest route. The last blades rotate and an insanely slow pace, so from there, it should be a straight dash to the finish line and a nice qualification to put under your belt.

There we have it. By now, you should've mastered the Fall Guys Whirlygig with ease and hopefully aren't in a tizzy after getting there.
