Fall Guys - Tip Toe Guide
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has a plethora of fun minigames for those bumbling beans to sink their teeth into, but let's have a show of hands for anyone who actually likes Tip Toe? Up there with Slime Climb and Egg Scramble (don't get us started), Tip Toe is one of the most controversial levels as we try and leap across the finish line and avoid tumbling into the abyss of elimination.
Unsurprisingly, you'll have to be quick on your feet if you want to beat Tip Toe, while your biggest obstacle here is the other players. Given Tip Toe's late-stage addition to Fall Guys, it usually takes place just before the final round when there are typically less than 20 bouncing beans left. Still, as the board fills with the other plays, and the tiles begin to drop, Tip Toe can be a frustrating finale when you're so close to the end.

When it comes to Tip Toe, two things will happen when you step on a tile. It either lights up and vanishes, or stays put. This becomes a memory game in itself where you'll have to try and picture the solid path in your head. With there being 100 tiles in 10 rows of 10, this would even test the memory of an elephant. Mediatonic makes a different path each time, because come on, did you really think it would be that easy?
The biggest piece of advice here is to let other players scope out the path for you. Holding back a bit will allow you to observe where to step and where to avoid. Be warned though, fake and solid tiles will revert to the same colour in a matter of seconds, meaning you'll have to stay eagle-eyed to keep up with what's going on. There's also the added bonus that you can actually spot the occasional fake tile because they sometimes shudder slightly.
At the start of a match, feel free to dive forward in hopes of finding solid tiles on the second row. Repeat this method to advance across the course, but ditch the tactic when you get nearer the end. If you find yourself at the back of the pack, fear not, catching up can be done. It turns our those sprightly beans can actually use a dive to leap over a single tile-sized gap. This won't help when there's a canyon in front of you, but could make up some valuable time as the rest of the beans edge away from you.
The final piece of advice is to remember that when the final tile is found, the round will be over in a matter of seconds. When everyone gets closer to the end, you want to make sure you're as close to the front as possible to secure your qualification. It's also a risky move bearing in mind the size of the tiles and having a blundering horde of beans clambering for space on such a small space.
We don't condone violence, but the good ol' shove and grab method can force enemy beans onto tiles and drop them to their doom or reveal the path to victory. It sounds like a paradox in itself, but the real trick with Tip Toe is to be as close to the front as possible without actually being at the front. Do you get us?
