The first level or so of upgrades won't usually require infected trophies, but as you begint to get into the higher levels they will become all too common. However, Dying Light 2 infected trophies aren't just that simple, as there are a variety of trophies to collect from. The infected trophies are as follows:
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Unique
The increasing rarity of course then relates to the level of upgrade you are trying to attain, so it is important you know exactly how to get each of these trophies. Once you have them stacked up, you'll want to head to the craftmaster to start upgrading.

- Uncommon: Virals, Howlers, Spitters
- Rare: Goons, Bolters. Banshees
- Unique: Chargers, Demolishers, Volatiles
Any one of these enemies are relatively easy to find, especially during the night. Just be careful during the night however, because if things go loud, then you can be overwhelmed quite quickly if you are trying to fight through it.
