Is Rainbow Six Extraction split-screen? Rainbow Six Extraction is the latest release from Ubisoft, which acts as a spin-off to its highly popular PvP shooter Rainbow Six Siege. As you'd expect, Extraction puts a heavy emphasis on team play, with squads of three taking on quarantine zones filled with various alien Archaeans. But as a co-op experience, many players are wondering if they can squad-up in a session of couch-co-op with split-screen. The days of couch co-op shooters are sadly, for the most part, behind us, and that trend only continues with the lack of Rainbow Six Extraction split-screen support. While Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-op experience it is based purely online, so you won't be able to squad-up to take on Archaeans when a mate comes over for a visit. However, there is a solution if you can't convince your friends to shell out for the game.

Rainbow Six Extraction Split-Screen: Buddy Pass Lets You Play With Friends For Free

Rainbow Six Extraction split-screen might not be available, but there is another option to play with your friends for free. While we go into more detail over on our Rainbow Six Extraction co-op guide, the game has an implemented Buddy Pass system. This allows you to play with two other friends for a trial period of the game, where they have full access to the game. While only temporary it is a good solution when someone just wants to try it out.
