Ditto is one of the most elusive creatures to catch in Pokemon GO. Unlike other Pocket Monsters, the Transform Pokemon can only be encountered whilst disguised as other Pokemon. Let's get into the latest list of Ditto disguises in this "catch Ditto" Pokemon GO guide.

Whilst navigating your local map in Pokemon GO, you can find a Ditto when it's disguised as one of the continuously updated list of Pokemon, with the last being from March 2023. As of May 2023, the latest Ditto disguises in Pokemon GO are still as follows:

  • Corphish
  • Diglett
  • Grimer
  • Litleo
  • Roggenrola
  • Snubbull
  • Starly
  • Tympole

If Ditto is disguised as one of these Pokemon in the game, it will revert back to its original form after being caught, before taking you to the stats screen. Whilst it would help if there was a way to tell which of the above Pokemon would be Ditto, the only distinction between the two is that its CP is typically lower.

Altogether, catching the smiling blob comes down to luck, still being the case since the Ditto Pokemon GO update for March 2023. Nevertheless, keep a look out for the above Pokemon and continue catching as many as you can until a Ditto is yours.
