The Diablo Immortal Purify the Corruption Zone Event is one of the first you’ll be able to try out as it becomes available fairly early on in the main quest. Zone Events in Diablo Immortal are time-specific fights that give you rewards that often make them very much worth doing, alongside the fun of the challenge. This specific Zone Event has you fighting the Diablo Immortal Blood Rose and corruption clone to gain the full rewards. So, if you’re planning on tackling the Diablo Immortal Purify the Corruption Zone Event make sure to follow along below.

How To Activate Diablo Immortal Purify The Corruption Zone Event

The first thing you’ll want to do in order to start the Diablo Immortal Purify the Corruption Zone Event is head over to the Dark Wood zone. You will get access to this zone at around level 26 with the main quest, and you can start the Zone Event once you’ve cleared that.

Unlike some other Zone Events, there is not a time cutoff or window for Purify the Corruption, so you’re free to tackle it at any time you want.

The catch is that you will need to build up enough corruption in the surrounding area in order to activate the main boss and complete the Zone Event. This can be done by killing any of the enemies in the Dark Wood zone, but the best way to quickly build up your corruption is by killing the Diablo Immortal Blood Rose boss.

If you want to be efficient with completing the Purify the Corruption Zone Event, taking down the Diablo Immortal Blood Rose boss is essential. It is located in the northwest of the zone and grants you 28% corruption each time you defeat the boss. Furthermore, the boss will respawn every 20 minutes after being killed, so it is easy to build up your corruption quickly here.

It can be quite a tricky boss, with a lot of AoE attacks that will easily snare you so watch out for those. Once completed though you potentially be treated to some good loot, as the Diablo Immortal Blood Rose boss has a high legendary drop chance. Seeing as you will likely be doing this boss multiple times you could likely build up a good collection of high tier loot.

Once you have built up enough corruption from defeating the Diablo Immortal Blood Rose boss and the various enemies around Dark Wood it is time to purge that corruption and fight the Zone Event boss. Head over to the northeast of the zone to the Tree of Inifuss and interact with the tree in question.

Once you have purified your built-up corruption the Diablo Immortal corruption clone will appear ready to fight you. Defeating this boss will grant you a Glowing Shard instead of the usual Enchanted Dust you would get from a Zone Event boss. Unfortunately, this isn’t as useful so it might not be worth prioritising over other Zone Events.

Can You Farm Diablo Immortal Purify The Corruption Zone Event?

Like all of the Diablo Immortal Zone Events, you can absolutely farm Purify the Corruption. You could even argue that this is prime for farming as it does not have any cooldown timer beyond the 20 minute respawn for the Blood Rose boss. However, as the final reward isn’t the most lucrative it shouldn’t be your priority farming mission. Using the Blood Rose to farm - especially at higher Diablo Immortal difficulty options - is a great thing to commit to, however, and is well worth doing.

That rounds up our guide on the Diablo Immortal Purify the Corruption Zone Event. You should have everything you need to know to complete it now, but if that has made you want to try out some others, why not have a read of our Diablo Immortal Tax Collector guide for info on the Haunted Carriage Zone Event.
