How To Change Difficulty In Diablo Immortal
Click to enlargeThe ability to change difficulty in Diablo Immortal doesn't come until quite far into the game, so you will need to go through most content on Normal to begin with. Once you reach the Diablo Immortal max level of 60, you will unlock the option to select a different difficulty and start earning Paragon levels.
Essentially, in addition to the Normal difficulty, there are four Hell levels which progressively increase the difficulty of enemies and allow them to drop better gear with higher attributes. Each of these Hell difficulties is tied to your overall Paragon level, so as you increase your level, you will unlock more difficulties and earn the chance to get the best possible gear. You can continue to complete the game on Normal if you desire, but if you plan on becoming as powerful as possible, you will need to change the difficulty.
The current difficulties, along with their Paragon level, are as follows:
- Normal - Character level 1-60
- Hell One - Paragon level 1-60
- Hell Two - Paragon level 30-130
- Hell Three - Paragon level 90-210
- Hell Four - Paragon level 160-300
To change the game's difficulty, you will first need to hit level 60 and then travel to the area of Westmarch. Once you're here, open up your map, and tap on the skull icon in the top-right to bring up the difficulty options.
