Think of the Guardian Games as Destiny 2's take on the Olympic Games. The Guardian Games pits the three Guardian Classes, Titan, Warlock, and Hunter, against one another in a friendly competition to determine which Class is the best.

To participate in the Guardian Games 2023, you must speak to Eva Levante in the Tower Courtyard. As an active participant, you can earn points for your Class by turning in Medallions to the Tower Podium. You get Medallions for completing Triumphs, Contender Cards, and activities.

To purchase Bounties, Contender Cards, and rewards from Eva, you will need to go out and secure Laurels. Laurels drop from defeated enemies and Guardians when you are wearing your 2023 Guardian Games Class Item.

Throughout the entirety of the Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2023, the Podium in the Tower will change daily to reflect the leading Class.

Furthermore, every Friday during the Guardian Games, there will be a Ceremony event in the Tower. The three Guardian Classes will be ranked based on the number of points their Class scored that particular week. And depending on where your Class places, you will receive temporary gold, silver, or bronze auras, and your Guardian Games Class Item will change colour to represent your Class's current standing.

Finally, at the conclusion of the Guardian Games 2023 comes the Closing Ceremonies. The Closing Ceremonies is where the winning Class gets crowned, and an epic celebration unfolds. To commemorate the victorious Class, a statue representing the winning Class will be erected and sit proudly in the Tower until the next Guardian Games.

Guardians can earn all sorts of rewards for participating in the Destiny 2 Guardian Games 2023. Previous iterations of the Guardian Games awarded Exotic Ghost Shells, Ships, Sparrows, weapons, and catalysts for turning in Laurels to Eva, banking Medallions, and completing Triumph and Quests. Expect other goodies to be available too, like Legendary Class Items, Emblems, and Shaders.

While the exact rewards tied to the Guardian Games 2023 remain a mystery, we know that Guardians will have an opportunity to earn an Exotic Scout Rifle. Rumours are circulating that it may be the Warlock-exclusive Tlaloc Scout Rifle from the original Destiny, but that has yet to be officially confirmed.
