Destiny 2 Exodus Garden 2A is one of the Lost Sectors in the south of the Cosmodrome, near where the Fallen Walker appears. Destiny 2 added Lost Sectors to this classic region when it returned in the Beyond Light expansion. For those of you looking to grab yourself some exotic armour, the Exodus Garden 2A is a nice and quick Lost Sector for you to farm. To learn how to do it, here is our guide to the Destiny 2 Exodus Garden 2A on Master and Legend difficulty.

  • Lost Sectors are an important part of the Destiny 2 ecosystem. To learn more about them, check out our Destiny 2 Lost Sectors guide.

Destiny 2 Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector: Preparation

Preparation for the Exodus Garden is very, very simple. Of course, we need to contend with some champions, and there are some annoying ones in here. Barrier Servitors are the big roadblocks that can slow things down, especially when paired with an Overload Captain. You will need to burn through those Barrier Servitors as quickly as possible, which should be doable with some good Void damage.

Void is the burn for this Lost Sector, and all shields here are Void. This is where things become quite simple, do as much Void damage as you can and you shouldn’t have too much of an issue. A Void heavy weapon like a rocket launcher would be ideal to hit the champions as hard as you can. Pair that with a Void primary, like an auto rifle or an SMG for the rest of the enemies and you shouldn’t have much of a problem at all in the damage department.

The Lost Sector is quite short so save your super for the end. Hunters in particular will have an easy time taking down the boss using Moebius Quiver.

This Lost Sector is very short but broken up into sections, so there’s no speedrun tactic to get through this. You will make you way down a large corridor encountering several shields blocking the way forward. In each instance, you need to defeat the nearby Servitors to drop the shields. Use your Void energy weapon to clear out enemies at the shield wall, then take down the Servitor to drop the barrier.

After the first barrier, you will encounter a Barrier Servitor. It will shield nearby enemies as well, so it needs to be defeated quickly. Bombard the Servitor with your heavy weapon and be ready to swap to your anti-barrier weapon if need be. When the Servitor dies, an Overload Captain will spawn in just up ahead. Clear out the nearby enemies so you can take down the captain from a distance. Once that is done, move up toward the next group of enemies.

There are a few things to be mindful here. You will have a roof on the left you can jump up to, a gap in the middle which you can use for cover, and a door to the right. The door to the right is only relevant because a group of Exploder Shanks will come out of it, so be very careful of them. Blow them up when they emerge and you will not need to worry about that side again. Now, you can jump up to the roof on the left for a vantage point. However, enemies will basically teleport up there beside you, so be wary of that.

In the main group of enemies, you will have many regular enemies, some Servitors, one of which is a Barrier Servitor, and another Overload Captain. All together these enemies can be a big problem so hit the Barrier Servitor as hard as you can, once it is done then deal with the Overload Captain. If you can manage that without using your super, that is absolutely ideal. Take care of the rest of the enemies here then move into the boss room.

The boss is a massive Servitor, which descends from the ceiling. Ideally, you want to hit it with a Moebius Quiver Shadowshot or a Nova Bomb. Otherwise, Void heavy weapons will do the job. If you don’t kill it straight away, there are plenty of crates near the entrance that can be used for cover. Focus on the boss, once it dies the Lost Sector is complete and you can claim your reward.

That is everything you need to do to complete the Destiny 2 Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector on Master or Legend difficulty. For more Destiny tips, check out our guide on how to get the Destiny 2 Hawkmoon now that its quest has been removed.
