How To Register For The Call Of Duty Vanguard Beta

The Call of Duty Vanguard beta was revealed at the same time as the first Call of Duty Vanguard trailer and although it initially didn't showcase the open beta dates, we know now when the Vanguard beta for the next Call of Duty game will be available. The full Call of Duty Vanguard release date isn't far off, which means players can get their hands on the Vanguard beta - not to mention the Call of Duty Vanguard alpha too, which comes even sooner - before too long. Here's everything there is to know about the Call of Duty Vanguard beta dates and how to get a code.

Vanguard beta dates: When is the Vanguard beta?

While the Call of Duty Vanguard beta dates weren't revealed at the same time the beta itself was announced, we do now know when it will take place. It's earlier than originally estimated, with the start of the Vanguard beta happening exclusively on PlayStation platforms from September 10-13. This is the early access period however, so you'll need a code to play - more on that below.

The week following that is when players on other platforms can jump in. September 16-17 has the Xbox and PC Battle.net early access period, while the beta on PlayStation turns open, meaning anyone can download it. Then September 18-20 is the Vanguard open beta across all platforms. This does mean that if you don't get a Vanguard beta code on PC or Xbox, you only have a three-day window to play. The beta will be crossplay though, so don't worry if your pals are on another platform.

Not sure how to get a Call of Duty Vanguard beta code? The main method is absolutely foolproof; pre-order Vanguard. As long as you pre-order the game from an eligible retailer in time, you'll receive a Vanguard beta code. The safest place is to pre-order digitally on either the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Battle.net.

Alternatively, there are often plenty of giveaways that happen on social media, so keep an eye out if you really don't want to pre-order. You will need one of these codes to play the Call of Duty Vanguard beta before it goes open though, so it's worth it.
