You won't be able to jump into season three of Warzone and begin using the M1916 straight away, but thankfully it doesn't take too long to unlock. You will need to reach level 15 of the free track for the new battle pass before you incorporate it into your loadouts. The weapon is shaping up to be one of the more powerful guns in the current meta, and with just the right loadout and perks, it's a fantastic choice in any capable hands.

Our M1916 loadout for the Rebirth Island map manages to keep the weapon's strengths front and centre, while still adapting to the shorter ranges and bigger need for stealth on this smaller map. The silencer comes in very handy in a manner of situations, while also keeping you off the minimap and forcing enemies to guess where you are much of the time. You'll still be a force at longer ranges, but due to the shorter site lines on Rebirth Island, it's not often you'll get to make use of that advantage. Our attachment choices are:

Best Warzone M1916 Loadouts: Perks And Equipment

When it comes to your Perk choice for this build, it really comes down to the exact playstyle you have, but we have some suggestions to give you an advantage based on how the weapon is best utilised. 

Firstly we recommend Ghost due to its stealth capabilities. This lets you stay off the minimap, hiding you from UAVs and the spotting function, meaning you can still escape some hairy situations if you are located by enemies. This Perk really plays to the long-range strengths of the M1916, as you may often want to scout populated places or highways of movement for enemies to take out. 

Overkill is another solid choice that lets you equip two primary weapons, meaning you can hold another gun that counters the weaknesses of the M1916. SMGs or shotguns work well here as close-range alternatives when you come across enemies or are moving through smaller environments.

Lastly we have Amped which pairs well with Overkill, letting you swap weapons faster. This is especially useful if an enemy manages to get the jump on you, and you're forced to bring out a close-range weapon.
