Best FTAC Recon Loadout Warzone 2 And MW2: Class Setup, Attachments, Perks

It's been a hot minute since we've had a single-fire weapon that is good in multiplayer. The FAL might have been the last, back in Black Ops 2, over a decade ago. However, the FTAC Recon has already made an impact in Warzone 2 and MW2 and is set to be one of the best duf duffers in the recent era. If you fancy yourself a maniacally powerful gun, here's all you need to know about the best Modern Warfare 2 FTAC Recon loadout.

Best Warzone 2 FTAC Recon Loadout - Attachments

The problem with the Warzone 2 FTAC Recon is mobility. It's a great marksman/assault rifle hybrid, but it's no good for fast, close-combat gunplay.

Our build focuses on medium to long-range combat, which is mostly down to semi-automatic firing. A build that focuses on increasing fire rate and accuracy is the best way forward here:

Best Warzone 2 FTAC Recon Loadout - Perks and Equipment 

The best Warzone 2 FTAC Recon Loadout will also require perks and equipment that will complement the strengths highlighted above. Here's what we think they should consist of:

• Secondary - X13
• Tactical - Flash Grenade
• Lethal - Semtex
• Perk 1 - Overkill
• Perk 2 - Bomb Squad
• Perk 3 - Fast Hands
• Field Upgrade - Ghost

Best MW2 FTAC Recon Loadout - Attachments

Casually becoming a 2-shot kill, precision is key, and so is an optic, given that the iron sights are quite clunky, its major downfall. Unfortunately, a scope is necessary; an ACOG or holographic are your best options. Although this does take one attachment away from the five given, it's not the end of the world.

Controlling the recoil through the barrel and rear grip is necessary, as even the best FTAC Recon loadout comes with a bit of a bounce. The fire rate is impeccable enough to out-gun most ARs too, but you'll be best opting for a muzzle that helps with range too if you're wanting to take on the M4 across the map.

Best MW2 FTAC Recon Loadout - Perks and Equipment 

Unlike other weapons, especially the SMGs, movement isn't everything here. Instead, with the best MW2 FTAC Recon loadout, you might want your perks and equipment to reflect a more controlled play style. Not necessarily camping, but bunny-hopping and slide cancelling isn't the FTAC Recon's strong suit. 

While a quick pistol, a Semtex, and a Flashbang are still optimal, as is Scavenger and Double Time, your usual Quick Fix should be traded out for Focus in Perk 2 and a Trophy System is your best bet as your Field Upgrade.
