While not all rolls of the weapon are equal - you may need to farm it before landing on the right one - it is incredibly easy to use with a bunch of meaty stats and damage output.

With its poison effect the Thorn is a go-to for PvP players as it can wipe out an opponent in just a couple of shots. It also avoids the dreaded feeling of your opponent dipping away into cover to heal, as its poison chips away at their health.

Best Destiny 2 Hand Cannons For PvP: Palindrome

The Palindrome is the first legendary weapon to make it into our Destiny 2 best PvP hand cannons. You'll need to work your way through some Nightfalls to unlock this one, but it is sure to leave you satisfied.

With solid range and a decent rate of fire, the Palindrome is one of the best PvP hand cannons right now, and while it has suffered a nerf or two, masterworking and managing your rolls will insure you'll barely notice the difference.

All round the Fatebringer is an absolute demon of a hand cannon. Solid damage, excellent handling, and one of the few hand cannons that can be rolled with the Explosive Payload perk. Taking a deeper look at its perks, the Fatebringer secures itself among the Destiny 2 best PvP hand cannons for allowing you to stack Adept mods and Adept variants, essentially letting you boost its already decent stats that bit further.

You'll have to work through the Vault of Glass, so it will be an effort to get this one, but is essential if you want total domination in the Crucible.
