This is an extremely versatile weapon that can lay as much of a thud at close range as it can at long range. Of course you can't really compete with snipers, but with the right attachment builds, you can purpose build the DM7 for any situation. You may want to start from afar as you come to grips with the rifle, taking the time to familiarise yourself with the recoil and potential fire rates. You can really fire as fast as your trigger finger will go, but you'll suffer from recoil, meaning when at a distance you need to take your time.

For starters, a good sight is key, so we'd go for the 8R Holo, the TV 2x or Shan 2.5x and the Fusion Holo for a good mix of ranged scopes. For ammunition, High-Power helps with long distance, Close Combat for when you're in the thick of it, and Armour Piercing for when you get sick of those tanks - which should be all the time. With the BCG Light Grip or the Rattlesnake Light Grip, moving accuracy is boosted, or the ADR Bipod for when you are hunkering down. And lastly for the barrel, the Extended Barrel, Wrapped Suppressor and the Champion Muzzle Brake cover all your playstyles.
