The Apex Legends Unshackled Event is the latest special event filled to the brim with new ways to play and Event-themed rewards to collect. Events are a major draw of Apex Legends, and the Apex Legends Unshackled Event looks to be the one to send off Season 12. This guide will overview the Apex Legends Unshackled Event including its start date, Flashpoint LTM, and all the themed cosmetics.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event: Start Date

The Apex Legends Unshackled Event kicks off on April 19, 2022. The event will run until May 3, giving players exactly two weeks to enjoy the festivities.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event: Flashpoint Limited-Time Mode Returns

The fan-favourite limited-time mode (LTM), Flashpoint, returns with the Apex Legends Unshackled Event. Except this time around, Olympus will be the battlefield.

In Apex Legends Flashpoint, healing and shield items are absent from the loot pool. The only way to recover health and shields in Flashpoint is via Flashpoint Zones.

Flashpoint Zones are represented as giant blue domes of energy scattered around the map. While inside a Flashpoint Zone, your health and shields will regenerate naturally over time.

These novel gameplay dynamics ensure that Flashpoint Zones are the most highly contested areas on the map. If you want your health back, you may have to fight for it.

Flashpoint offers an exciting twist on the standard Apex Legends formula.

Titled "Flash" Events, the Apex Legends Unshackled Event will feature two unique weekly challenge tracks. Advance through the prize trackers each week to unlock different Event-themed rewards.

In total, there are 40 Unshackled-themed cosmetics for Apex Legends players to collect. Aside from the free prizes in the challenge tracks, you'll need to gather Unshackled Packs and/or Apex Coins to unlock these themed items.

The brand-new Legendary skins available with the Apex Legends Unshackled Event include:

Each Unshackled Event Pack guarantees you one non-duplicate Unshackled Event item. While Unshackled Event Packs will only be available through the duration of the Apex Legends Unshackled Event, these cosmetics will enter the standard Apex Pack pool at the conclusion of the event. 

Loaded on Crafting Materials and want to save your Apex Coins? Unshackled cosmetics can be crafted in exchange for Crafting Metals. After two seasons, Respawn may reduce the Crafting Metal costs of Unshackled items.
