Apex Legends Rampage And Sentinel: Where Are They?
The Apex Legends Rampage and Apex Legends Sentinel have suddenly been removed from the battle royale. Apex Legends has a constantly shifting meta due to the nerfs and buffs dealt out to the game's growing arsenal of weapons. However, it seems that both the Rampage and Sentinel are breaking that meta with some recent exploits, and have been subsequently removed from the game.

Apex Legends Rampage And Sentinel Exploit
As it stands the Apex Legends Rampage and Sentinel are the only two guns in the game that can be charged or boosted. Both weapons can receive a time-limited boost to damage and fire rate thanks to the use of a thermite for the Rampage and a shield cell for the Sentinel.
While this is certainly handy on the Sentinel, it dramatically increases the proficiency of the heavy hitting Rampage LMG, as its only real downfall was the fire rate.

The exploit somehow allowed players to leave their weapons in a permanently boosted state. By charging up the weapons, swapping inventory slots, dropping the weapon and then picking it back up, the weapon would appear to be out of charge, but permanently maintained its faster fire rate and amped damage.
This exploit was only available on PC, and Respawn Entertainment has originally issued out a supposed fix to this exploit. However, the exploit somehow remained and Respawn was left with no choice but to remove the weapons entirely. Respawn hasn't stated when the guns will return, only claiming that it was "temporarily disabling" both of them in all modes - both battle royale and arenas.
The Apex Legends Sentinel is one of the few snipers, and the Apex Legends Rampage has steadily become part of the meta since its introduction in Season 8, so Respawn will likely be keen to get both weapons back as soon as possible. Until then players will need to make do with other weapons, and hope their amped weapons options return with haste.
