Apex Legends is coming to mobile! Revealed on April 19, Respawn Entertainment's 100M-strong battle royale will be hitting the small screen very soon.
Reported to be coming to both Android and iOS devices, the mobile version of Apex hopes to bring their brand of chaotic fun to a whole new audience.
Apex Legends Game Director, Chad Grenier, took to the official Apex site to announce the mobile version, confirming regional betas, and promising that although this was a "new" version of the game, it would stay "true to the original."
When Is The Apex Legends Mobile Beta?
Respawn announced the first limited Apex Legends Mobile testing regional betas starting sometime in Spring 2021, beginning with Android devices, with iOS coming later in the testing period.
The first rollouts will be in the Philippines and India and are closed betas of only a few thousand players, for which pre-registering is not yet open.
Chad Grenier did confirm, however, that "over the course of this year we're planning to roll the game out to more regions and more players around the world", so keep your eyes peeled for more info on beta tests for the U.K., Europe, and U.S (which should be later in spring).
