2021 RLCS Season X - Spring: The Grid NA
RLCS Season X is the second RLCS season in 2020 and moving into 2021.
This season will see the biggest changes yet to the RLCS System, because of the League Play and the annual seasons being abandoned and replaced with an open circuit which will include Fall, Spring, and Winter. These three seasonal events will lead to an international major, with each team collecting points that will determine if they will qualify for the World Championship.
Group Stage: Round Robin will be a best-of-five match. For the tiebreakers, the game differential is the primary tiebreaker that seeds the teams. The top two will receive a bye to the Semifinals of the Playoffs, the top six will be qualified for the Playoffs and bottom ten will be eliminated.
Playoffs: The setup for the playoffs will be a best-of-seven-page playoff system. 5th and 6th start against each other in the lower bracket with 3rd and 4th in the upper bracket, playing a double-elimination bracket. The rest stands as a single elimination bracket. The teams in the playoffs are eligible for The Grid Wildcard towards the Spring Major.
