Have you ever been playing The Sims 4 and thought to yourself, "how can I make this experience not only more terrifying but also comedic?". Well, wonder no more, we have the answer - Sims 4 first-person camera mode!

The first-person mode in the EA title is by no means perfect, and clipping can and will happen; but what's The Sims without some bugs?

Operating the first-person camera is rather frustrating, you can't use WASD to walk or move, for example, and instead, have to point and click. You can, however, easily switch between members of the household with the spacebar.

Don't expect an RPG experience, just enjoy a glimpse through your sim's eyes, and into their animated and chaotic lives.

Joanna Nelius of PCGamer recently tried out the first-person experience for herself, trying out everything from drowning (a staple Sim death) to WooHoo - with hilarious results.

First things first, the things you aren't meant to see in The Sims (such as what goes on under the covers during a WooHoo session) defy the laws of physics and flexibility, as Joanna learned when she took a look for herself.

If you talk to any lifelong player of The Sims, they'll admit in hushed tones that they have indeed committed murder - by removal of pool ladder.

It is a must in The Sims, don't ask me why, but everyone seems to enjoy drowning their Sims by utilising their god-like powers (Build/Buy Mode) to remove a ladder from the pool in which their Sim is swimming, resulting in a death from drowning/exhaustion.

So what of experiencing this cardinal sin for yourself? Well, you can!

You can try out everything from experiencing an electric shock to using the first-person camera mode to make your own in-game movies.

Give it a go, and live like a Sim!
