Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has had a time of it recently. He recently announced that he’d stop playing Among Us despite its huge popularity as a result of a lot of hate for doing so, and he’s had to take a short break from streaming too. The break has come as a result of xQc telling his fans that he had to deal with daily swattings that left him “fearing for his life”.

It’s been a very dramatic and scary few days for the streamer, and it’s brought his fans to worry. And now, as it turns out, the swatting problem was much worse than his fans ever knew.

xQc has had to relocate again, as the ‘daily SWATs’ were much worse than previously known, as an armed man had broken into his home looking for him.

In an update live on stream, he details the incident that pressed him to consider relocating.

“The SWATting was happening a lot and then some person went to my old house and broke into it with a crowbar”, he reveals. “And apparently he was looking for me! So at that point it was like holy f***, that’s pretty crazy, right?"

He continues to mention that the strange goings-on would happen in his new house with his roommate, fellow streamer Sodapoppin. "Then weird sh*t started happening at Soda[poppin]’s house, too. I felt like it was unfair for everybody around me that I’m putting them in danger.”

Regardless of your thoughts on the outspoken and controversial streamer, xQc’s decision to move away from his friends and his old home is a smart one. Who knows what could have been around the corner for him, and these events must have shaken him pretty badly. It’s hardly surprising that he’s taken the break from streaming that he has in light of this information.

Wherever xQc ends up next, fingers crossed that it’ll be a safe environment free of routine break-ins.
