Gaming collaborations with high-end clothing companies rarely end in a cheap transaction. Apex Legends is currently running a collab with Chinatown Market, which has resulted in some expensive skins and even more expensive skin t-shirts. Elsewhere, who could forget Fortnite's notorious Balenciaga that collab wasn't nearly exciting enough to engage fans, even when pushing a skin of a dog in a hoodie?

While Fortnite has just become too bonkers even for skins that are daft on paper, the fashionistas aren't stopping there. The collaborations persist - and Xbox has recently made mates with Gucci in order to promote a new crossover. And it's an acquired taste. And it costs a fortune. Surprise, surprise.

What's In The Xbox Gucci Bundle?

Xbox's collaboration with Gucci has been revealed, to a choir of the upturned noses of fans. The Xbox Gucci bundle has been revealed as the result of a loving collab between the gaming company and the high-end fashion company. It features a customised, laser-etched Xbox Series X, two customised wireless controllers, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and a special Gucci-branded carrying case. Sounds plush, right?

The Xbox itself is pretty flashy, but the carrying case itself leaves much to be desired. We're no fashion designers, but blimey, that green? On that background? Ech, talk about clashing patterns.

None of this matter much because we all know people will buy it anyway. Frankly, a purchase of this Xbox Gucci bundle could end up keeping the lights on at Xbox all by itself.

How Much Does The Xbox Gucci Bundle Cost?

If you thought you'd be ready to jump at the chance to buy a Gucci Xbox Series X, you might want to think again - because this is probably the most expensive retail-price gaming console on the market right now. If you want it, you'll have to head to one of a few select Gucci stores in the world on November 17 and fork over a monstrous $10,000 for the bundle. Crikey.

We should have seen this coming from a company as exclusive as Gucci, but even so - $10k for an Xbox is bonkers - but if stock problems persist, it could be our only choice. Gulp.
