Wolverhampton Wanderers, a name synonymous with any football fan in the UK, has announced their Rocket League return with a brand-new roster.

The club's organisation, known as Wolves Esports, previously competed in Rocket League in late 2020, now a new set of stars will be wearing orange and black.

The team is made up of a mix of experience and young stars, with Euan 'Tadpole' Ingram, Kieran 'Rehzzy' Hogan, and 16-year-old Zakariya 'TriToN' Gavrilenk, working alongside existing coach, Joessi 'Juicy' Moorman.

On the move, Wolves Esports' manager Michael Moriaty said: "I’m thrilled to be able to bring these guys into Wolves as our next Rocket League team. We’ve spent a fair amount of time looking into who’ll be the best fit for our organisation, and with these three players on board, I feel that we’ve done that.

"We’re matching the experience of Tadpole with the raw ability and talent of TriToN and Rehzzy. I can’t wait to see how all three of these players learn from each other and create a solid package that will be set to make a strong challenge in the RLCS this season."

Returning coach and team manager Juicy added: "It's a new chapter for the Wolves Rocket League department with this entire new roster, but one I’m very excited to start. This upcoming season will be a ruthless one with only 16 teams per event, but I’m very confident in our abilities as a team, and I’m sure we’ll make some waves."

The move marks a busy few months for Wolves Esports, following their partnership with Evil Geniuses in July, which included investment from Wolves' owners Fosun Sports Group into the North American organisation.

It's yet to see how the new roster will perform, but they shall be making their debut this weekend in the first qualifiers ahead of Regional Event 1 in RLCS 2021.
