Riot Games new title VALORANT is a big success, but the question on everyone’s minds is “will VALORANT be on PS4 / XB1?”. VALORANT is a 5v5 FPS game (Riot Games first hero shooter) and so far, has been for PC only, leaving console fans are on the edge of their seats.

Described as the gaming lovechild of Overwatch and Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO) – the first of which is both available to play on PS4 and Xbox One - it’s likely that VALORANT will be available on these platforms come 2021. As for upcoming consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X, boasting much more powerful systems, they are almost certain to feature the new FPS.

The Nintendo Switch is having massive success with the addition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Doom 3 to its roster, meaning Riot Games may want to add their title to its ranks too.

With a Riot Games’ spin-off of League of Legends (named Wild Rift) due out on consoles later this year, it’s not reaching to assume VALORANT could be pushed to consoles also.

Nothing has been officially confirmed from Riot itself, or any leaks, so we must play the waiting game on information regarding trying out the highly awaited new release on console.
