Call of Duty normally goes hand in hand with the undead, with popular game modes such as Infected giving players the chance to re-enter the battleground as a zombie. However, this latest Warzone bug brings back players from the dead as normal, despite being eliminated from the game.

The Most Wanted contract is a popular feature within Warzone as it allows fallen teammates to redeploy from the dead should they have been eliminated and lost the Gulag. Marking yourself as king of the hill, if you can surpass three minutes with the bounty you will be rewarded with your teammates return and a bundle of cash. However, if you die whilst marked at most wanted, you will be eliminated and your time on Verdansk will be up.

That was the case, until this bug.

Reddit user "u/Joel_Cantelo" found he picked up a Most Wanted contract that continued past his death. In a duos lobby, Joel_Cantelo was killed whilst marked as king of the hill, and sent to the spectators' screen, where his teammate was still alive. Now with no bounty upon his head, his teammate continued the game, looking for cash to for a redeployment, although the Most Wanted contract hadn't ended. As the three minutes passed, Joel_Cantelo was redeployed from his own Most Wanted contract to fight another day.

Both players were even rewarded with the money, meaning not only were they reuinted as a pair, they even had enough to get two sets of armour plates and reignite their battle to be the last man standing.

This bug, if continued, could cause havoc across Verdansk, as countless players could be redeploying into Warzone without having earned it. On game modes like quads, this could be crucial as with the huge cash rewards that squad would be well set to be on their way to victory.
