Call of Duty players have found another sneaky way to give themselves an edge over the competition, with a new Warzone Season 2 turning some Operators invisible. While Warzone promotes the same fair playing practices of all other CoD games, the battle royale juggernaut has been rocked by glitches giving advantages to sneaky shooters. From glitching under the prison to disappearing into walls, we've also seen the recurring problem of the stim glitch - which has hopefully been patched out for good.

There's no escaping the popularity of Warzone since it launched last March and overtook the battle royale scene in a big way. Similar games like FortniteApex Legends, and VALORANT have also been plagued by glitches, however, Warzone is more guilty than most when it comes to giving cheaters a way to score Victory Royale by nefarious means.

What is the invisible Warzone glitch?

Similar to previous Warzone woes where players can glitch inside walls to become invisible, there's a new one that's been discovered by disgruntled players. This time, u/tenXeXo titled their post "[PSA] New season, new glitches. People are clipping inside the walls underneath Chemical Engineering on Rebirth". With the revamped Season 2 trying to merge the worlds between Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, it looks like an unwanted glitch slipped through the cracks on Rebirth Island. In the video, someone can be seen clipping into the wall of Chemical Engineering and vanishing from sight.

The Warzone invisible glitch has some obvious advantages other than the fact you'll be free from being hit inside the walls. Lurking in the safety of the wall, you'd be able to pick off opponents without them knowing where you are. We've all seen the videos of confused players being downed from seemingly nowhere. Of course, u/tenXeXo highlighting the hot spot should mean more people are aware of the invisibility glitch and can avoid being caught in the crossfire. With continued complaints about a "pay-to-win" Roze skin making you invisible, Activision is no stranger to invisbility controversy.

Will developers patch the invisible Warzone glitch?

The original poster claims there was a Jeep near the wall, suggesting this was part of how players were able to glitch into the wall. They also claim it popped up as part of the recent Season 2 update, however, others disputed this and say it's been around for much longer. Either way, we'll have to keep our wits about us. One gamer wrote, "Well that's f****d.On the one hand, great that they resolved the stim glitch (or so I am hearing). On the other hand, yeah, more glitches!*",  while another added, "Imagine when the new br map comes out that's rumored to be made of current and future cw maps that people are already clipping through".

There were all the usual complaints that Warzone is broken, while others still said the stim glitch is wreaking havoc. In recent months, we've seen Activision warn against cheaters and regularly throw down the ban hammer, but as we see above, there are still plenty of players who are willing to take their chances and cheat their way to the top. As with all these things, we're expecting devs to be pretty quick on the uptake in patching this one out. Then again, we saw the stim glitch run rife for months, as cheaters hung out in the toxic gas and evaded damage to get an underhand Victory Royale. Hopefully, the devs will be on it in patching out this latest glitch, Lord knows we've got enough to contend with already.
