Another day, another Warzone glitch.
Shockwaves rippled through the Call of Duty universe this week, as Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 3 saw the complete and utter annihilation of Verdansk as we knew it. As captain Price and the new operator, Knight, were whisked back in time to 1984, a new-look semi-constructed Verdansk offered a fresh yet familiar twist to the year-old battle royale.
Verdansk '84 came with some shiny new POIs, including two game-breaking areas that have been exploited. Lay underneath some of the more densely populated dropping points is underground glitches, allowing players to manipulate servers and cheat their way to a win.
Users have reported that under the map glitches can be found at POIs such as Airport, Stadium, TV Station and Train Station.
As showcased by Reddit user "WeeabooDude", the glitches allow players to dive through the floor and run around Verdansk undetected.
To make things worse, the underground moles can fire their weapons through the surface, and even escape from limbo by finding the various grapple pints around the map.
This bug comes as one of the worst exploits ever seen in Warzone. Previous iterations have allowed players to get underground before being patched, but being able to shoot through the surface is another level of brokenness.
As one commenter pointed out, this isn't the first time it has appeared, although previously it occurred in a much less severe location. The comment read "after the whole under the map prison glitch they still let you shoot from below the map. nice," referring to the same glitch underneath the Gulag that was instantly patched.
Activision or any of the developing parties has yet to comment on this bug, although a fix is likely to come through in their next patch update.
