Warzone Fans Are Calling For Activision To Nerf The Sun
Call of Duty: Warzone has certainly had its fair share of problems. The stim glitchers and wall-hackers give the game a bad name, and despite Activision’s failure to remain on top of those who spoil the fun for everyone else, they are at least receptive to fan feedback. Their attention to fans' concerns for the game are what help to keep the game afloat, and they do what they can to keep the game fun for players. But now, maybe fans are asking too much of the developers.
Fans Call For Warzone’s Sun To Be Nerfed
In direct aversion to the game’s realistic presentation and great graphical fidelity, some fans are calling on Activision to make some changes to the presentation of the sun in Warzone. A video posted to Reddit posits the question ‘when can we nerf the sun glare?’ as a clip shows the problems that arise with it. The player turns a corner to see a huge glare reflecting from the nearby building, disproportionately blinding them on their hunt for another player.
In any other context, hoping for the sun itself to be nerfed would be a ridiculous request, but it’s clear that the glare is a big problem for this player. Luckily though, this isn’t a problem that requires a patch per se, but can be slightly remedied simply by playing around with game settings.
How To Reduce Warzone’s Sun Glare
Warzone’s sun glare is a result of the game’s high-end textures, so simply turning down the graphical fidelity of the game will bring down some of the heavy glare from Warzone’s sun. Fans are expecting an update to come soon that will adapt the lighting systems due to some major lighting differences between Verdansk and Rebirth Island, but in the meantime, adapting the game’s graphics settings should do the trick.
Calling for a nerf to the sun might not be the most over the top Warzone fans have demanded, but it’s equally a demand that makes sense. Hopefully, the lighting engine gets an edit before the glare does some serious damage to players’ games.
