WarioWare: Get It Together! Fans Disgusted By 'Gross' Minigame

Although we can't wait to indulge in the candy-coated madness of WarioWare: Get It Together!, fans of the franchise are disgusted by confirmation that a particularly gross minigame involves moving cat poop.
For those new to WarioWare, the truly out-there series pits you against other players in a series of increasingly short minigames where anything goes. Imagining what it would be like if Mario Party had been on the goofy juice, WarioWare has kept us entertained since 2003.
With Nintendo shining against a sometimes rocky backdrop of this year's E3, the announcement of WarioWare: Get It Together! slipped in alongside a closer look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Tekken's Kazuya in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the announcement of Metroid Dread. Even if it wasn't the expo's biggest reveal, the tenth instalment in the WarioWare franchise is sure to be big.
Why are players disgusted by WarioWare: Get It Together?
An ESRB rating for Get It Together! confirms a bizarre minigame where you'll have to move cat poo around a litter tray. As shared by streamer Stealth40k, they said there's a "new minigame that I simply never want to do". In the tweet, they confirmed the WarioWare minigame involves “moving a poo coil around a cat’s litter box".
Players were suitably grossed-out by the reveal and let Nintendo know their thoughts. One disgusted WarioWare player wrote, "I’m a cat owner, and either way that’s grim", while another added, "No one wants to do this, cat owner or otherwise". A third wrote, "There was a mini game where you had to time getting both fingers into the person's nose... that was the worst by far".
What else do we know about the new WarioWare game?
Speaking of a boogie breakfast, the ESRB rating also confirmed another nose-picking minigame thanks to “some scenes briefly depict Wario picking his nose”. The ratings board said the upcoming title will include "dropping rocks on characters heads, defending characters from monsters, or zapping enemies until they fall off screen".
WarioWare has become known for its toilet humour over the years, so we're not exactly surprised by any of the above. Finally, the ESRB rating referred to a handful of minigames including “dodging pink poo coils falling from birds” or “collecting drops of mucus from a giant figure". Kids love that kind of stuff, so we guess they'll be equally infatuated by WarioWare.
Sure, it might be a bit grim to pick poop out of a cat litter tray or pick Wario's nose, but with this being WarioWare, would you want it any other way? As WarioWare: Get It Together! heads toward a September 10 release date, expect to find out more about its gross minigames.
