Vanguard Captain America And Indiana Jones Skins Have Been Leaked
Call of Duty: Vanguard isn't even a full week from launch, and we've already had leaks about some of the upcoming crossovers for this edition of the franchise.
What Upcoming Crossovers Have Been Leaked?
According to industry insider and games leaker, Tom Henderson, both Captain America and Indiana Jones are set to come to Vanguard sometime soon in a crossover. He captioned the Tweet, "Both Captain America and Indiana Jones seem to be making their way to #Vanguard in the near future. Disney had been in talks with Activision in the summer on potential partnership opportunities."
Crossovers continually seem to be the norm in multiplayer gaming, largely thanks to Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone. Recently, the latter title has had collaborations with Scream and Donnie Darko for Halloween, with Rambo sometime before that, and Vanguard is even supposedly getting an Attack on Titan crossover event soon.
Elaborating slightly further, Henderson, posted a follow-up tweet that stated, "Strings of code sent to me by @CoDPersus_ seem to indicate some kind of event, but it's unclear on exact details and when the event will be." It would make sense that the crossover will at least feature skins of the two characters for Operators in the multiplayer and Warzone modes.
As an Avenger, Captain America is endlessly popular, and Indiana Jones is making a comeback to the larger public consciousness thanks to the upcoming film and video game in development by Machine Games. These might serve well to win favour back, after the issues that have been plaguing Vanguard so far.
What Issues Has Vanguard Faced?
Within the first day of players getting their hands on the title, complaints about buggy audio causing guns to stay silent were reported, and more audio issues cropped up after it was revealed the Ninja perk was unfairly making some Operators quieter than others.
The newest edition of COD Zombies has also been panned, as the Dark Aether storyline was delayed and the original wave based zombie mode is yet to even make the game yet.
Call of Duty: Vanguard is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and select PC platforms. You can also check out reviews for the single player campaign and multiplayer modes.
