As VALORANT look to implement their first-ever reactive map in Episode 3 Act 2, with Fracture, the next addition to the agent line-up is also in the works and has been teased through small snippets in trailers and rough artistic posters.

"Deadeye" is set to be the successor of KAY/O who arrived in Act 1, and whilst the information revealed about the seemingly precise blood-hunter hitman, it appears that there is a great mind behind him.

Riot August, the designer behind League of Legends champions such as Viego, Vi, Kayle, and the imperious Jhin, is reportedly making their first VALORANT agent with Deadeye.

Both Jhin and Viego have been huge forces in League of Legends since their inception. The latter has dominated 2021 since their release in January, often being the decisive factor in any teams' composition.

Viego is the third-most used player in the LEC throughout the Summer Season, being picked or banned on 85% of games. Referred to as the most deadly champion in League of Legends, the omens look good for Deadeye to land with a bang in VALORANT.

Jhin, on the other hand, is not a champion that has been a force in esports, despite posting up impressive KDA ratios on the handful of times he was chosen in the 2021 regular season. However, before releasing in 2020, Jhin was known as codename "Deadeye" in the LoL files. Familiar...

Deadeye was first teased in the Episode 3 trailer, where we saw the first glimpse of Fracture. With the Lords of the Rings inspired map now confirmed for Act 2, we'll likely be seeing the new agent in the near future.

With a creative mind behind the most feared LoL Champion appearing to be working on Deadeye, duelists and initiators with a keen shot should be licking their lips in anticipation.
