New VALORANT Map 'Fracture' Coming Later This Month
A new dawn awaits for VALORANT, as Episode 3 Act 2 beckons. KAY/O's introduction has been one filled with sparks and electric gameplay, as teams have had to find new, innovative ways of breaking down defensive displays. However, a new season adds fresh content, and a new VALORANT Fracture map is on its way.
VALORANT Episode 3 Act 2 is on the horizon, and Riot Games has confirmed that the season will be named "Reflection".
The new Act will see a complete refresh of the battlepass boasting unique rewards like weapon skins and charms. However, the most tantalising new addition comes in the way of an exuberant battleground. The new VALORANT Fracture map will join an expanding list of arenas, coming as the successor to Breeze.
Valorant Fracture Release Date
Coming in Episode 3 Act 2, the VALORANT Fracture map will be landing on September 8.
Fracture will be composed of an "H-shaped" layout, with long zip lines that run through its centre. With deep lines of sight down the middle, and a defensive spawn that utilises the middle of the map, Fracture could well be an Operator's heaven, with each side of the "H" being favourable to sharpshooting marksmen or a rampant Bulldog main.
The new VALORANT Fracture map will also be the first arena to include reactive objects. With an environment that can be bent to your own will, expect some flashy and innovative plays to unfold on Fracture.
VALORANT Episode 3 Act 2 Battlepass
With a new battlepass, a range of fresh customisation opportunities become available. As a way of depicting personality and flair into your gameplay, the VALORANT Episode 3 Act 2 Reflection Battlepass will see some mirror-esque rewards up for grabs.
The key items up for grabs will be from the Artisan, Nitro, and Varnish ranges.
An Artisan Foil Melee weapon will be available, alongside a range of different versions of the Phantom. Both the operator and Vandal will get Nitro skins, whilst the Sheriff's most clean design will be seen in the Varnish range.
The Battlepass will also launch on September 8, alongside the introduction of Fracture.
