With each passing week, another page of VALORANT Esports' first chapter is etched out, with hieroglyphics inked on the write of passage. With a quill and coffee-stained bamboo paper, the stories are being put into eternity, and many have called for the first stanza to be named as the 'Sentinels Era'.

Having already ripped the existing script apart with an undefeated run at the VALORANT Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters, Reykjavik, Sentinels have continued to reign supreme in North America, and eye to conquer the world again in Berlin.

Despite pressure from Rise Nation, Team Envy, and 100 Thieves, Sentinels have been crowned as North American champions once again, completing a hat trick of trophies that will be perched in their headquarters. Back to back victories against 100 Thieves saw Sentinel continue supremacy in the region, as well as being the reigning global champions.

Now, people are calling for the side to have their own 'era', having won every trophy possible since the VCT was formed.

Since forming back in May 2020, the squad has proceeded to win all three NA Playoffs, and both Masters including the first-ever international LAN. Having proceeded to qualify for Masters 3, Berlin, many are also arguing that the 'era' can be solidified with another international trophy - including G2 Esports' CEO Carlos "Ocelote" Rodriguez

Others argued that a dynasty couldn't be completed without the World Championships trophy in their cabinet, which is often the definitive point of any success story.

Sentinels have since been compared to the likes of Ninjas in Pyjamas from Counter-Strike, who won multiple S-Tier tournaments upon the release of CS:GO and have since become a staple of the competitive scene.

As to whether they will see more success in Berlin is yet to be seen. However, with a wider range of teams invited, the global competition will be more fierce than ever before.
