"We demand Giants to be disqualified" is the message coming out of the VALORANT Champions Tour qualification stages, as make-up team 'Bref' believe the Spanish organisation cheated in their 2-1 victory.

As both teams battled it out to advance through the qualification stages, Bref has claimed that Vodafone Giants used a game-breaking Cypher Cam bug on Breeze to sway the match in their favour.

The accusations claim that Vodafone Giants used the bug on at least six rounds, which proved pivotal in their 13-7 victory on the decisive map. Now, Bref star Tristan "Dawn" Bornet has called for the team to be disqualified or a rematch to be organised.

Vodafone Giants 'Unintentionally' Use Cypher Cam Bug

The Cypher Cam glitch in question lies above the bomb site on Breeze. As displayed by Dawn, the camera can see through the glitched railing that it sits on, although opposing players can neither see it nor destroy it from their attacking side.

According to Dawn, multiple other teams including Team BDS and Fnatic knew of the glitch, and opted to not use it, despite it not being listed in the banned exploits.

The glitch gives the defending team an advantage by being able to see a specific line of sight that shouldn't be visible, meaning that they can easily lock down the bomb site and prevent any retakes.

Bref Call for Vodafone Giants To Be Disqualified

Taking to Reddit and Twitter, Bref has called for Vodafone Giants to be DQ'd, although it appears to be falling on deaf ears.

Having taken their complaints directly to Riot Games admins, the developing team insisted that the glitch is new and isn't listed in the exploits that will result in retrospective action.

However, their code of conduct states: "Intentionally using any in-game bug to seek an advantage is exploiting and is prohibited."

The VALORANT Tournament Supervisor has since told Bref that the results stand, although fans have heavily criticised the decision.

Vodafone Giants were dumped from the tournament anyway, having lost out to Rix.GG in the next round - although a fixture against Bref may have been a different story.
