VALORANT developer Riot Games announced a new support agent for their first-person shooter. Launching shortly after Act III goes live, the Australian agent Skye is able to summon various animals using her nature magic trinkets that are used to scout, flash, and even heal.

Who Is The VALORANT Act III Agent?

Skye counts on an army of beasts summoned by her trinkets casting nature spells of a forest colour-palette. Taking animals from the ocean, earth, and sky, the agent is a supportive type that brings a ton of information gathering and utility to the table.

Guiding Light (100 credits) - EQUIP a hawk trinket. FIRE to send it forward. HOLD FIRE to guide the hawk in the direction of your crosshair. RE-USE while the hawk is in flight to transform it into a flash.

Trailblazer (200 credits) - EQUIP a Tasmanian tiger trinket. FIRE to send out and take control of the predator. While in control. FIRE to leap forward, exploding in a concussive blast and damaging directly hit enemies.*

Regrowth (Signature) - EQUIP a healing trinket. HOLD FIRE to channel, healing allies in range and line of sight. Can be resued until her healing pool is depleted. Skye cannot heal herself.

Seekers (6 Ultimate points) - EQUIP a Seeker trinket, FIRE to send out three Seekers to track down the three closest enemies. If a Seeker reaches its target, it nearsights them.

Moreover, the agent rolled out with a sweet trailer showcasing her abilities.

Riot Games had announced that Skye would be hitting the live servers only two weeks after the intended release window during the new Act as they prioritised a new map that had been announced yesterday. Riot Games had teased the announcement of both Skye and the new map Icebox with several cryptic tweets with coded messages hinting towards the content of the new update.

So far it's unknown how strong Skye will be in competitive play but it is at least speculated that her kit will rank among VALORANT's best agents, contributing a lot of crucial skills to every team composition while also coming with solid solo-play potential. We'll keep you up to date about her strength as soon as Skye is available on live servers and tournament competition.
