Universal Studios Teases Massive IRL Fortnite Event
There are a lot of exciting things to come for Fortnite fans. Following the announcement of some classic monster skins that will be available this spooky season, it seems something very Fortnitemarish is happening over at Hollywood's Universal Studios. A Battle Bus has appeared on City Walk and will be there for the whole month of October to celebrate the spooky season and, if reports are correct, Epic Games are teasing that something huge is on the way.
The Fortnite Battle Bus
Twitter user, ThemeSnark, first posted about the Fortnite Battle Bus on October 3. The Bus' appearance was a bit of mystery, at first, with one attendee claiming a security guard at the site said: "They're planning something big". Fortnite has certainly had its fair share of movie nites, but some fans began to speculate that the Battles Bus' location outside Universal is because a Fortnite film could be on the way.
Whilst it doesn't look like Fortnite will be gracing the silver screen any time soon, it seems that the Battle Bus is actually part of the annual Fortnitemares Event to celebrate the Halloween season. There's been no official word from Epic Games about the Battle Bus, as of yet, but something huge could certainly be on the way. It's, also, been reported that the Battle Bus has both a day and night mode thanks to some flashy neon lights which come to life in the dark. This could be great promotional piece from Epic Games and would tie-in perfectly with the 'classic' monster skins which are yet to be revealed throughout October.
Given how Universal Studios have been behind some of the most iconic horror film monsters ever. Perhaps, this means that Dracula or the Mummy could soon be coming to the item shop?

So far, the confirmed 2021 Fortnitemare skins that have been revealed and will be available on the item store are Frankenstein's Monster and Curdle Scream Leader. Although we haven't had a chance to look at the bandaged baddy yet, Epic Games have confirmed that The Mummy will, also, be available as a skin on the Item Store.
If these new skins are anywhere near as scary as the Carnage skin, then Fortnite players could be in for one hell of a Halloween season.
